Winner Washington Aggregates and Concrete Association Award!

We performed a type, size and location study for this bridge replacement. The study looked at alternative locations for the bridge, alternative types of bridge structures and alternative bridge lengths. The study included a hydraulic analysis of the Snohomish River. The report made recommendations for the new bridge structure based on initial cost, future maintenance costs, esthetics and impacts to the environment. We then provided final design services for the prestressed concrete bridge along with roadway improvements and construction review services. The new bridge is a single cell prestressed concrete girder bridge.
