Martin Way Bridges and Roadway

Martin Way is a major east-west collector in Thurston County carrying four lanes of traffic. This project involved the staged removal and replacement of two treated timber trestle bridges that carry Martin Way over McAlister Creek. The replacement structures are three span continuous reinforced concrete bridges. The project also involved approximately 3050 feet of roadway widening, including improvements to traffic channelization, drainage and stormwater treatment, lighting, and traffic control for construction staging. Sargent Engineers provide all design services for this project.
